Joint guidance on the use of IT equipment

The Department of Health, the General Medical Council and the Office of the Information Commissioner has jointly issued guidance on the use of IT equipment and access to patient data.

The Department of Health, the General Medical Council and the Office of the Information Commissioner issued the guidance to ensure that all those who have access to patient information in the course of their work are clear what is expected of them.
