Approved Specialty Curriculum and Associated Assessment System 2010

Doctors wishing to undertake training in the specialty of Occupational medicine must first complete 2 years of specialty training in a Core Medical Training (CMT) programme or Acute Care Common Stem (ACCS) programme.

Other viable routes in to higher specialty training  include core training in surgery, psychiatry, public health and general practice however from ST3 onwards training is specific to Occupational medicine.
