Changes to the GMC Education website

The Education section of the GMC website has been restructured to reflect the alignment of our processes across undergraduate and postgraduate education.

The new approach will also help you to find the information you need as quickly as possible.

The main changes are:

• The Assuring quality in medical education section contains all our quality assurance content for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training and is structured against our new Quality Improvement Framework.
• The new Overview section contains information about our work that crosses both undergraduate and postgraduate education and training.
• Postgraduate standards and guidance now reflects our aligned standards for postgraduate medical education and training, The Trainee Doctor.
• There are now information pages for patients and the public, medical students, medical schools, trainee doctors, deaneries, and medical Royal Colleges and Faculties, which we will continue to develop in response to your feedback.
