Recruitment for Curriculum Advisory Group

Web News

29 Jun 2012

The GMC is looking for members for a new group which will evaluate specialty and sub-specialty curricula and assessment systems.

This campaign is to appoint members to the Curriculum Advisory Group (CAG) which will replace the current process of Curriculum and Assessment Panels. The new group is scheduled to begin work in the autumn.

We undertook a project in late 2011 through to June 2012 to review the way in which we discharge the approvals work under the Quality Improvement Framework.

We took feedback and input from our stakeholders including the medical Royal Colleges and Faculties, and have devised and agreed a process which is responsive in a shorter timeframe, better utilises the GMC’s resources and ensures four country input.

For further information about the CAG and the recruitment process please see Curriculum Advisory Group.

The closing date for submission of applications is 20 July 2012.
