The GMC has issued an additional position statement on workplace based assessments and annual review of competency progression.

The statement is intended to clarify the position of trainees in less than full-time training (LTFT), and the requirements for the number of workplace based assessments (WPBAs) such trainees should undertake for the purposes of the annual review of competency progression (ARCP).
