Education Associate recruitment - closes 29 January 2012

The GMC is seeking Education Associates to support our programme of visits to medical schools, deaneries and local education providers.

Our programme of visits and checks is expanding and we need to increase our pool of GMC Associates undertaking this valuable work.

Visit teams vary in size and expertise depending on the organisation being visited and the focus and duration of the visit or check, so your involvement could be as little or as much as suits your other commitments.

We are looking for a number of associates in the following roles:

• specialty trainees
• assessment experts
• medical educationalists
• local faculty with a role in the foundation programme
• local faculty with a role in a deanery or equivalent
• employers
• lay people of any background including patients.

The closing date for applications is 29 January 2012.

The assessment process will run from 15 February 2012 to 8 March 2012.
