Academic post approval

The only types of posts which will be granted individual approval are ACF/CL, OOPT/OOPR, or AUC posts.

Academic Clinical Fellowship/Clinical Lecturer (ACF/CL)

These posts are made up of both clinical and academic components and must have separate approval. A Form C-1 must be filled in; guidance is contained within this form.

Withdrawal of approval

The GMC may withdraw approval from any training institution or GP trainer. For further information contact quality@gmc-uk.org.
