Guide for stakeholders

We have prepared a guide broadly showing how, and where, the previous standards have been addressed in the new standards.

This is provided as a tool to assist organisations to embed the new standards into processes and procedures.

PowerPoint presentation

We have also prepared a set of slides to support the launch of the standards. We recommend you look at these in conjunction with the FAQs for full background details.

• Promoting excellence: GMC external resource - slides (ppt) is a PowerPoint presentation we have produced which our education partners can use to introduce the new standards to trainers and others involved in educating and training medical students and doctors.
• Promoting excellence: GMC external resource (pdf) contains the same information in pdf format.

Poster

We have produced a poster about the standards - Promoting excellence - poster (pdf) - for our education and training partners to display in workplaces.

If you would like to print copies yourself we recommend you print it on size A3 or larger paper, in colour.
