Approved Specialty Curriculum and Associated Assessment System 2012
Doctors wishing to undertake training in the specialty of Vascular surgery must first complete 2 years of Specialty Training in a Core Surgical Training (CST) programme followed by a period of 6 indicative years of specialty training in Vascular surgery from ST3 onwards but the training to CCT requires the completion of both core and higher approved training.
The 2012 approved documentation for Vascular surgery incorporates all levels of specialty training from ST3 to ST8.
