02 Jun 2011
General information about registration with a licence to practise for doctors who are visiting the UK to provide particular medical services at the 2012 London Olympics and/or Paralympics exclusively to persons who are not nationals of the United Kingdom.
All doctors accompanying national teams to the London Olympics and/or Paralympics in 2012 need to be registered and hold a licence to practise with us.
This applies to Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) and team doctors who have been notified to us by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympics Games (LOCOG) with the specific purpose of accompanying national teams to this event.
If you are not attending in the capacity of an appointed CMO or country team doctor and have not been notified by LOCOG, please read our guidance on applying for registration with a licence to practise.
If you have any other enquires in relation to registration with a licence to practise, or the Olympic and Paralympics Games please contact us.
