The Royal Colleges and Faculties’ evaluation process was integrated into GMC Connect on 28 March 2011 and is ready for use.
GMC Connect (our secure partner portal) will make the evaluation process easier both for Royal Colleges and Faculties, and for us. It replaces the old secure file transfer system (SFTS).
The evidence bundles for all the existing applications that are at the evaluation stage have been transferred into GMC Connect.
If you are an administrator at a Royal College or Faculty and you cannot see the applications you expect in your GMC Connect account, please let us know by emailing equivalence@gmc-uk.org.
Shortly, we will decommission access to SFTS so it is important that you set up the users you need in GMC Connect as soon as possible.
If you have not yet used the system, before you begin, please have a look at the College administrators’ GMC Connect user guide (pdf).
If you would like new users to be added to GMC Connect, please email Alan Paget (apaget@gmc-uk.org) with the College administrator’s name and email address.
