From 1 April 2010 the GMC’s fee for provisional registration will be £145. The initial full registration with a licence to practise and annual retention fee will be £420. Read more about the annual retention fee and what the GMC plans are for 2010.

Doctors currently registered with the GMC, who were appointed to a substantive, honorary or fixed term consultant post in the NHS or UK Armed Forces prior to 1 January 1997, can apply for entry onto the Specialist Register utilising the new scheme.
