Attending an identity check
When your application has been assessed you will be invited to book an identity check at one of our offices. You must complete an identity check before your application for registration can be granted. When you attend, we will take your photograph and inspect the original documents that you provide in support of your application.
For more information about this, please see our guidance on identity checks
(opens in a new window).
More information about the documents you need to provide is set out in this guidance.
You are reading the guidance for applying for restoration to the register for doctors who did not apply for voluntary erasure. If this is not the guidance you need, click here to return to the Registration applications menu.
