Registering as a doctor – page 3 of 9
Certificate of Experience
In order to move to full registration, you must submit a fully completed Certificate of Experience. The Certificate of Experience must be completed by an authorised officer of your medical school or deanery.
As part of your online application for full registration, you must download a Certificate of Experience which you should send to your medical school, or deanery. They will complete it and send it to us.
The authorised officer completing the Certificate of Experience will need to have already received your completed 5.1 Attainment of F1 competency form.
Do not submit a Certificate of Experience for sign off unless you have completed the online application. If we receive a Certificate of Experience without an appropriately completed online application we will reject it and return it to you.
Remember: do not wait until you have completed the full 12 months' service before finding out what local documentation to complete.
You are reading the guidance for applying for registration for graduates from UK medical schools who have completed an internship. If this is not the guidance you need, click here to return to the Registration applications menu.
