The Panel determined to impose an order of conditions on Dr Muktadir’s registration for a period of 18 months (until 15 January 2010). The conditions are as follows:

    1. She must confine her medical practice to National Health Service posts, where her work will be supervised by a trainer/supervisor to be appointed by the North Western Deanery.
    2. She must seek a report from her trainer/supervisor for consideration by this Panel, prior to any review hearing of this Panel.
  1. She must not undertake any locum posts or out-of-hours work.
  2. She must comply with the training requirements of the North Western Deanery.
  3. She must notify the GMC promptly of any professional appointment she accepts for which registration with the GMC is required and provide the contact details of her employer.
  4. She must allow the GMC to exchange information with her employer or any organisation for which she provides medical services.
  5. She must inform the GMC of any formal disciplinary proceedings taken against her, from the date of this determination.
  6. She must inform the GMC if she applies for medical employment outside the UK.
  7. She must inform the following parties that her registration is subject to conditions 1 to 7:
    • Any organisation or person employing her to undertake medical work.

The Panel determined that the order of conditions imposed on Dr Alexander’s registration should be maintained for the remainder of the duration of the order (until 30 July 2009). The conditions are as follows:

  1. He must notify the GMC promptly of any professional appointment he accepts for which registration with the GMC is required and provide the contact details of his employer.
  2. He must allow the GMC to exchange information with his employer or any organisation for which he provides medical services.

  8. He must keep his professional commitments under review and limit his medical practice in accordance with the recommendations of the person(s) advising the GMC in relation to his fitness to practise.
  9. He must cease work immediately if any of the person(s) advising the GMC in relation to his fitness to practise recommend that he does so.
  10. He must inform the following parties that his registration is subject to the conditions, listed at (1) to (10), above:
    • Any organisation or person employing or contracting with him to undertake medical work;
    • Any prospective employer (at the time of application);
    • The PCT in whose Medical Performers List he is included, or seeking inclusion (at the time of application).

The Panel determined that the order of conditions imposed on Dr Ragupathy’s registration should be maintained for the remainder of the duration of the order (until 24 February 2009). The conditions are as follows:

  1. He must notify the GMC promptly of any professional appointment he accepts for which registration with the GMC is required and provide the contact details of his employer and PCT on whose Medical Performers List he is included.
  2. He must allow the GMC to exchange information with his employer or any organisation for which he provides medical services.

  5. Except in life threatening emergencies, he must not undertake consultations with or examine female patients without a chaperone present. The chaperone must be a fully registered medical practitioner, a fully registered nurse or a suitable health care professional.
  6. He must maintain a log detailing every case where he has undertaken a consultation with such a patient, which must be signed by the chaperone.
  7. He must maintain a log detailing every case where he has undertaken a consultation with such a patient in a life-threatening emergency, without a chaperone present.
  8. He must provide a copy of these logs to the GMC prior to any review hearing of this Panel or, alternatively, confirm that there have been no such cases during that period.
  9. He must inform the following parties that his registration is subject to the conditions, listed at (1) to (8), above:
    1. Any organisation or person employing or contracting with him to undertake medical work.
    2. Any locum agency or out-of-hours service he is registered with or applies to be registered with (at the time of application).
