The Panel determined to impose an order of conditions on Dr Idahosa’s registration for a period of 18 months (until 7 January 2010). The conditions are as follows:

- He must confine his psychiatric medical practise to
posts within the National Health Service where his work
will be supervised by a named Consultant and not
undertake any private practice.
- He must seek a report from his supervisor in relation to any psychiatric practice undertaken for consideration by this Panel, prior to any review hearing of this Panel.
- He must provide to the Panel at any review of this order full details of Continuing Professional Development undertaken.
- He must notify the GMC promptly of any professional appointment he accepts for which registration with the GMC is required and provide the contact details of his employer.
- He must allow the GMC to exchange information with his employer or any organisation for which he provides medical services.
- He must inform the GMC of any formal disciplinary proceedings taken against him, from the date of this determination.
- He must inform the GMC if he applies for medical employment outside the UK.
- He must inform the following parties that his registration is subject to conditions 1 to 6:
- Any organisation or person employing him to undertake medical work.
- Any prospective employer (at the time of application).
- Any locum agency or out-of-hours service he is registered with or applies to be registered with (at the time of application).

- He must confine his medical practise to National Health Service training posts in anaesthesia where his work will be supervised by a named Consultant.
