Decisions
You can use the on-line List of Registered Medical Practitioners to find out details about registered doctors, including any current restrictions on their registration.
The List of Registered Medical Practitioners also provides any publicly available fitness to practise history since 20 October 2005.
In order to legally practise medicine in the UK a doctor must be registered with a licence to practise. If a doctor has a licence to practise, a flag will appear on the entry in the List of Registered Medical Practitioners.
Alternatively you can search recent decisions taken by our Fitness to Practise Panels and Interim Orders Panels below.
Our records of Fitness to Practise decisions and IOP decisions are held on webpages.
This search facility searches the full content of each webpage.
You can search using the full name or just the surname of the doctor.
The search will bring up pages which are titled either:
- GMC Interim orders
- FTP Panel
