Consultation toolkit
We would like to encourage a broad range of people to get involved in the consultation, including doctors, patient and public representative groups, witnesses and complainants. With this in mind, we have produced a consultation toolkit which is designed to help you organise your own discussion about the proposals and respond to the consultation.
The resources are free to download and make use of.
Discussion guides
We have created a discussion guide and discussion topics tailored for doctor and public and patient representative organisations. These resources are intended to help you organise your own group discussions about the consultation proposals.
PowerPoint presentation
This presentation provides a plain English overview of the background to the reform of our fitness to practise procedures and the GMC's consultation proposals. You can use this to sent the scene for a group discussion.
We have also produced versions of the presentation specifically tailored to the concerns of doctors and patient and public representative groups.

Consultation events
We are running a series of public events, to encourage people to get involved in the consultation, including round-table workshops and webinars.
The workshops will be held at our offices in London and Manchester. These will be hosted by our Assistant Director for Policy and Planning, Anna Rowland.
Alternatively, you can discuss the proposals with us via a webinar. A webinar is an interactive online debate which will be hosted by our Assistant Director for Policy and Planning, Anna Rowland. You can join in from your home or place of work, using your own telephone and computer with internet access.
