People who are involved: Health examiners

Information about health examiners, who are involved if a doctor is referred to us for health reasons.

You will be assessed by two health examiners.

If the issues relate to an addiction or a mental health condition, they will be psychiatrists.

In other cases the health examiners will be practitioners with relevant experience.

The examination often includes a mini mental state exam. If the assessment is going to include a physical examination the examiner will tell you in advance so you know what to expect.
