Don’t let the word medical fool you.
We want graduates from a wide range of backgrounds to apply with, or expecting at least a 2:1 degree, to maintain and improve the high standards set by the GMC. You would become part of a team committed to delivering excellence in medical regulation but you do not need a medical background to do this.
You will however have strong analytical skills and be able to use your initiative and judgment to solve complex problems. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills being able to work successfully as part of a team, influence others and demonstrate a strong customer focused approach. Your organisational skills will ensure you can manage a busy workload and prioritise your work to meet deadlines and targets. Above all, you will have a determination to succeed and a desire to work for an organisation that really makes a difference.
Development
We’re looking to give you a real job from day one.
Recruits on our Graduate Development Programme will get a great mix of hands-on experience and interesting development opportunities which will support your successful career. Not only will you participate in a Diploma in Management, you will work through a series of skills workshops and a development centre.
We take your career development extremely seriously and a lot of thought has gone into ensuring that you will get the best possible grounding in the organisation. The range of activities you will be involved in will keep you engaged and interested, and prepared for whatever direction you want your career to go in.
Throughout that time you will be assigned a mentor who will hold regular meetings and be there to guide you and provide support when you need it.
