Working with doctors Working for patients
Our Regional Liaison Service (RLS) allows us to listen and understand the needs of doctors, patients, medical students and other groups across England.
Our regional liaison advisers hold meetings and interactive sessions to explain and discuss our work, so we're in the best position to meet your needs.
Click on your region to find out more about your regional liaison adviser and what they’ve been doing in your area. To get involved you can contact them directly or email us at rls@gmc-uk.org
The RLA is happy to respond to general questions about the GMC however due to the nature of their role they are often out working in hospitals or with groups of GPs in the community. The speed of their response may not then be as quick as you would like.
If you need a quicker response or if your query is about a registration or a fitness to practise matter please call our Contact Centre on 0161 923 6602 (Mon to Fri - 8am to 6pm, Sat - 9am to 5pm). We also have a confidential helpline to help doctors to raise serious concerns and seek advice on patient safety when they feel they are unable to do so through their employers at local level, please call 0161 923 6399 (Mon – Fri, 9am-5pm).
