 NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition 2012

We were at the NHS Confederation Annual Conference from Wednesday 20 June to Friday 22 June. Our stand was open for delegates to meet an expert on revalidation - from the GMC, the Revalidation Support Team (RST), NHS Employers, and the Department of Health (England).

We also hosted a revalidation fringe session on Wednesday, in the convention centre. The speakers at our event included:

• Niall Dickson, our Chief Executive.
• Ann Lloyd, a trustee of The Patients Association and the former Chief Executive of NHS Wales.
• Professor David Haslam, Senior Clinical Advisor of the Care Quality Commission and member of the National Quality Board
• Dr Penny Dash, Vice-Chair of the King’s Fund’s Board of Trustees and a partner at McKinsey.
