Medical School Freshers Fairs

The GMC attended 33 Freshers Fairs across the UK to introduce ourselves to medical students and sign them up for our student newsletter.

Being fair - challenges and opportunities conference

This conference openly discussed issues that are fundamental to maintaining public confidence in our work as a regulator.

The event was highly interactive with panel discussions, lively speakers and audience voting. 

19-22 June

NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition

The GMC exhibited at and hosted a plenary workshop during this three day conference, focused on Revalidation. 

2011 

1 November  

Medical education...in a cold climate 

Our second annual education conference, this event examined some of the hot topics in medical education and training in a cold climate.

Medical School Freshers Fairs

We attended 30 medical school freshers fairs around the UK. 

2010 

2-3 December 

International Revalidation Symposium 

Co-hosted by the GMC, the Federation of State Medical Boards in the US, and the Health Foundation, this event brought together academics, healthcare regulators, and key stakeholders from around the world to debate and discuss, and to exchange experience and ideas, about implementing systems for revalidation.  

12 October 

Tomorrow's Professionals: GMC Education Conference

A mix of plenary and workshops for colleagues from across all stages of medical education, this event brought together 300 delegates to engage with the GMC's draft education strategy, and to discuss the future of medical education.
